For the last 25 years Zakiyyah Ali has been teaching nutrition and providing a host of services including but not limited to catering, vending and presenting workshop or designing programs on topics from gardening, environmental sciences to live food preparation and community organizing. Her mission is to bridge the health gaps as they relates to nutritional, health, and environmental issues facing the African American communities

Zakiyyah Ali is the founder of Ali's FACES(Food, Agri-business, Consulting & Environmental Services) which is a multi-faceted food service organization located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and servicing the greater metropolitan region and on occasion international clients. She is also the founder and president of the Black Vegetarian Society of the Tri-State Area (BVS-TSA) which is a not-for profit association. Chef Zakiyyah Ali, a graduate of Lincoln University with a Master Degree of Human Services is available for speaking engagements, program development, gardening workshops, food preparation classes, personal chef services and catering.
